Episode poster generator
A poster is what a series looks like before anyone presses play. Episode Maker generates key art from your title, logline and episode synopsis, shaped to the aspect your series already uses.
Series posters and episode posters
There are two places a poster can live. The series poster sits at the top of the public series page and on your series shelf in the studio. Episode posters sit beside each episode in the list and on the public page next to that episode's title and synopsis. Both are generated the same way and cost the same three credits.
The prompt is assembled for you. It starts from the series title, adds the logline, adds the episode synopsis when it is an episode poster, and then adds an optional direction line you type: a mood, a colour, a detail you want in frame. The image model is told to leave clean space for a title and to avoid rendering any text, so the poster works under your own titling.
Generating a new poster retires the previous one. There is one poster per series and one per episode at a time, which keeps the public page tidy and keeps you from paying storage for posters you no longer use.
Why the shape follows the series
A widescreen series gets a landscape poster framed like a streaming banner. A vertical series gets a tall one-sheet. The generator reads the aspect from the series, so there is nothing to choose and no way to end up with a banner on a vertical show. The poster, the cards and the episode file are all the same shape.
The posters are stored at full size as JPEGs in the media bucket and served through the site's own media domain. The public series page uses the series poster as its share image, so a widescreen series previews as a landscape card when its link is pasted somewhere.
Posters are generated, not uploaded
Posters are always generated. Uploads are reserved for outfit, set and prop references in the library, which pass through image moderation on the way in. A generated poster passes through the same moderation after it renders; a flagged poster is deleted and the job is marked failed, and because the image request had already left, the credits are kept.
The text that builds the poster prompt is moderated before the charge: the title, the logline, the synopsis and your direction line. If something in there is blocked you are told before any credit moves.
Working posters into the package
The poster is not inserted into the episode video; the title card does that job inside the file. The poster is the thumbnail and the share image for the pages around the episode. A good pairing is a poster with a strong single composition and a title card in a theme whose palette agrees with it: Midnight Reel with a cool night poster, Lobby Card with warm key art.
If you regenerate a poster with a direction line, keep the line short and visual. "Rain on the glass, one lit window" does more than a paragraph of story.

Questions
Can I upload my own poster?
No. Posters are generated so they match the series aspect and pass moderation on the way out. Outfits, sets and props are the library items you can upload.
Does the poster have the title on it?
No. The image is generated with clean space and no lettering so the page and the title card do the titling. That keeps the poster usable if you retitle the episode.
Who owns the posters?
You own them, the same as the episodes, under our terms of service. Copyright treatment of generated images differs by country; consult a lawyer if you need a definite answer for your situation.
What size is the poster?
A 2K render, stored as a JPEG. Widescreen series get a landscape image, vertical series a portrait one.
What happens to the old poster when I generate a new one?
It is deleted. One poster per series and one per episode keeps the public page and your storage clean.
